The journey ends with eternity in one of two abodes. Believers who held fast to faith and good deeds, by Allah’s mercy, will enter Jannah, a place of peace, joy, and endless reward. Others may be led to Jahannam, a place of punishment, unless forgiven by Allah.

Qur’an: “As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, they will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever…” (4:57)
