Death is not the end of existence — it is the beginning of a new chapter in the journey of the soul. Allah ﷻ reminds us:

“Every soul shall taste death. Then to Us you will all be returned.” (Qur’an 29:57)

For the believer, death is a transition from the temporary trials of this dunya to the eternal reality of the akhirah. From the moment the soul leaves the body until the Day of Judgment, every stage has been described to us through the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. These stages are not meant to frighten us, but to prepare us, guide us, and remind us of the purpose of life: worshipping Allah and striving for Jannah.
